cold buffet will be available on the Friday evening from 6.00pm -7.30pm and a
bar open until 11.00pm. On the Saturday
evening there will be a hot buffet from 7.00pm -9.00pm and a bar until midnight. The food at County Hall will be supplied by
Derbyshire County Council’s franchised catering facility.
Magpie Mine
On
the Sunday evening a grand barbeque is to be held at Magpie Mine near Sheldon –
the Society’s field centre.
Other Establishments
There are numerous takeaways, restaurants,
fast food outlets, pubs, chip shops and cafes in Matlock itself, about 5
minutes walk from County Hall. Also many in Matlock Bath close to the
Pavilion. This information will be
available on registration day at the Museum’s Information Point and can also be
